About the RadarGolf Ball

Is the RadarGolf™ Ball performance any different from my regular golf ball?

No. A RadarGolf Ball will perform identically to a same model “non-RadarGolf” ball. The distance, spin, look, and feel are unchanged. The RadarGolf ball has been tested against many of the top selling golf balls (e.g., Maxfli Noodle, Titleist NXT, Nike Mojo) and has performed competitively in distance, velocity, spin and durability. Click here for more information on the performance of the RadarGolf Ball.

Can I get a RadarGolf™ System-compatible version of my current model golf ball?

RadarGolf technology can be incorporated in any commercially available golf ball. The company that manufactures your current model ball must first purchase a license from RadarGolf to include the proprietary microchip technology in their golf balls.

Is the RadarGolf Ball a USGA-conforming ball?

Yes. The RadarGolf Ball meets all USGA criteria for size, weight, distance, initial velocity and symmetry.

Does the RadarGolf System conform to USGA rules?

The USGA states that scores may still be submitted for handicap purposes since the RadarGolf System does not assist in the physical execution of the golf stroke. Therefore, the RadarGolf system is allowed for posting USGA handicaps.

Will the RadarGolf System find all lost balls?

No. The RadarGolf System will not find balls in water, nor help you reach balls that are physically inaccessible (e.g., over fences, down ravines). Balls that are hidden in the grass, in the bushes, or otherwise in-bounds but not visible can be readily located by the RadarGolf System.

What happens when two RadarGolf Balls are located in the same search area?

The RadarGolf™ Handheld will find both balls. The golfers will need to look to see whose ball is whose as they do now. The RadarGolf Handheld does not distinguish one RadarGolf Ball from another.

How long will the RadarGolf Ball last?

At least as long as the same model non-findable ball. The embedded RadarGolf microchip is built to withstand the punishment of repeated blows from a golf club and still perform. RadarGolf Balls have been subjected to extensive durability and performance testing and meet or exceed the required standards for durability and quality construction.

Please note, however, that normal everyday golf play will result in the “consumption” of RadarGolf Balls! Balls will go in the water and be irretrievable. Balls will go over fences or down ravines and be inaccessible. Balls will hit cart paths and get nicks or scuff marks that motivate the golfer to replace the ball with a new one.
