Keoghan Putts Across Scotland
 |
Phil Keoghan putts a golf ball 107 miles across Scotland in a four-day journey. Why? Because it's a good way to meet the people of Scotland. As the greatest golfers in the world gathered in Augusta for the 2008 Masters, Phil Keoghan, host of CBS’s Emmy-winning "The Amazing Race" attempted an unprecedented, if slightly ridiculous, golfing feat. |
Armed with his trusted 7 iron, a RadarGolf ball and dressed in a kilt, his mission was to putt a golf ball clear across Scotland, from coast to coast, 4 days, 12,000 shots and 100 miles (basically 4 marathons) ending at the home of golf ... the 18th of St. Andrew's.
And how did it all end up? Well, believe it or not, Phil made a birdie on the 18th hole using only his 7 iron for all three shots! Amazing!
