Essentials: RadarGolf Golf Ball Finder System
Avid Golfer Magazine
February, 2006
The RadarGolf System uses Ball Positioning System technology in both the RadarGolf balls and the handheld device. The golf balls are embedded with a chip that emits a radio signal to the handheld device, which then leads golfers to their ball. The embedded microchip is so small that it does not affect the ball’s performance in any way, manufacturers claim. The ball is USGA conforming and meets all USGA specifications.
Cost for the system (handheld device, a dozen RadarGolf balls and a carrying pouch) is $249.95. An extra dozen golf balls is $40. www.radargolf.com
